It’s hard to believe it’s already time for the kids to go back to school! Before you know it, we’ll be posting about football games and fall festivals. For now, embrace the spirit of summer with these weekend events.
If you haven’t made it out to the Wounded Warrior Dog exhibit yet, this weekend is your last chance. Check it out all weekend long at 108 N. Main Street.
There is, of course, the Union County Farmer’s Market on Saturday. Stock up on late summer produce like tomatoes, sweet corn or blackberries.

Uptown Friday Nights in Uptown Marysville
Enjoy another summer night in uptown Marysville filled with live music, family fun and more. The forecast does call for rain, but there’s plenty of great restaurants and shops uptown to check out no matter what the weather is doing outside.
CF184 will also be hosting a free concert during Uptown Friday Nights with Scott Arnold Performing. “Where’s the smoke?” food truck will also be on site to serve up food.

Crawl for Kids in Uptown Marysville
This Saturday afternoon, head uptown for the beer crawl for kids! You and your team will make stops at Leon’s Garage, Half Pint, Fiesta Grande, The Ville Grill and Old Bag of Nails and get three pitchers of beer to enjoy, along with some live music. All proceeds (tickets are $50/person) will benefit The Elizaveta Fund to help families adopt orphans.
North High Tap Takeover at The Half Pint
After the crawl, head back to Half Pint to enjoy brew from North High Brewing. They’ll also have swag bags to raffle off. With each beer you order, you’ll get a raffle ticket, so better try them all to increase those odds!
Mini Comic Con at Marysville Public Library
The library is hosting their own version of Comic Con this weekend. Get ready for panel discussions, games, local artwork and more. Don’t forget to don your best cosplay gear for the cosplay competition!
