Socially distant summer fun is possible, we promise! Read on to learn how Marysville is getting creative so that we can all stay safe, have fun and support our local businesses this month.
Marysville Outdoor Refreshment Area
The MORA is back! Grab a beer from your fav uptown local bar and sip and stroll through the streets every Friday in June from 4 to 10 p.m.
Drive-In Movie Night
Enjoy the drive-in, just like the old days! We’re pretty excited this is making a comeback. There’s a Parking Lot Movie Night at Living Hope Church, and if you’re looking for a mini road trip, the Hi Road Drive-In near Kenton is open for move nights on the weekends too.
Food Trucks and Live Music at Dalton Union
Dalton Union has resumed their normal business hours for weekends in June! Whether you feel more comfortable with indoor or outdoor seating, Dalton Union is taking steps to make sure you can enjoy a night out and still feel safe.
The Marysville Municipal Swimming Pool is open!
The pool is open, but has also implemented specific social distancing guidelines to keep visitors safe. Most specifically, the number of visitors admitted to the pool at any given time is 200. They will have a live count on their website, which should help you to plan your Pool Day. They have also added barriers in the pool and visitors must bring their own chairs.
Peaches at Dutch Mill Greenhouse
Dutch Mill Greenhouse is opening for their summer hours and will host The Peach Truck later this month. On June 27, get batches of fresh peaches straight from the truck while you shop for your summer blooms. To keep things safe this year, you must pre-order your peaches. Check The Peach Truck’s site for more info.
Union County Farmers Market
The market is back in a new location! Vendors will set up at the fairgrounds to allow for more space between booths. Check their website for full social distancing guidelines.
