You’ve still got time to grab some delicious, locally grown apples – but not for long! Head out to CherryHawk Farms any day this weekend for apples at $5 a peck.
The shops of uptown Marysville are opening their doors this Friday and Saturday for a holiday open house. Get a jump start on your Christmas shopping with special deals at Plumm Home, Uptown Antiques and more!
Saturday, November 3
Support the Marching Monarchs AND get some more shopping done for everyone on your Christmas list. The MHS Marching Band is hosting a craft show at the field house on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a variety of vendors to choose from!
This unique event is billed as a “party with a purpose.,” as all proceeds from the ticket sales (which will run you $25 a piece) will benefit Trinity Lutheran School. Tickets include event entrance and dinner, and light snacks will also be provided. Dress up and enjoy live and silent auctions, a hog roast buffet, wine tastings from Dalton Union Winery and a beergarden from Roundhouse Depot. It’s all going down this Saturday night at Dutch Mill!
Sunday, November 4
Everyone loves a good pumpkin drop! Grab the kids and head out to County Home Road to say goodbye to Halloween and watch pumpkins splatter after being dropped from a 100-foot ladder truck. There will also be fire station and fire truck tours, as well as a bounce house. Proceeds benefit Blessings in a Backpack.
