Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Orientation at Marysville Public Library

Searching for a great community organization get involved with? Check out Union County Neighbor to Neighbor. Volunteers lend a helping hand to seniors and others in our community who need assistance with transportation or household tasks. Attend their orientation session on Thursday to get acquainted with the group and learn how you can help serve our community.

Teen Mystery Night at Marysville Public Library

Have a young sleuth in your family? Bring them out to the library on Thursday night for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle themed mystery event! This program is aimed at kids ages 9 and up.

Marysville Football versus Delaware Hayes (Away)

It might be an away game, but we’re so excited for football season we’re willing to make the drive! The Monarchs play the Delaware Hayes Pacers in Delaware this Friday night. Our football team and marching band would definitely appreciate the support at an away game, so don your red and blue and head out to the stadium to cheer MHS to victory.

Covered Bridge Cycling Tour, starting at Edgewood Elementary

Any avid cyclists out there? Join the Covered Bridge Cycling Tour this Saturday morning, starting at Edgewood Elementary. You can choose to ride 19, 30, 63 or 75 miles following a path through Union County’s beautiful historic bridges. Complete information is available here.

POP Pilates at Union County YMCA

Try something new at the Y this weekend with POP Pilates. According to the event page, POP Pilates is “a rhythm based, total body workout, done right on your mat. It is a powerful fusion of music, strength, and choreography that takes classical Pilates to the next level.” This is an ongoing class on Saturday mornings, so jump in at the beginning and start your weekends off right!

Pallet Sign Stenciling at Dutch Mill Greenhouse

Do a little DIY this weekend at Dutch Mill Greenhouse. You can make your own pallet sign with Jessica Walker of Rustic Reflections.  Tickets are $50 per person and you can select between 13×13, 14”circle, or a 19×10 pallet. Ohio State Tailgate at The Ville Grille

What better way to kick off the football season than with a tailgate at The Ville Grille? The party starts at 11 a.m., and they’re offering drink specials, Buckeye beads and temporary tattoos just for football fans!

Dog Swim at Marysville Pool

Grab your furry family member for a splash in the Marysville pool before it closes for the season! Admission is $5 per dog, with 50 percent of proceeds benefiting the Humane Society.

Live music round-up

Dalton Union Winery will host solo artist Rick Robinson, along with Miggy’s Mobile Kitchen food truck. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

Leon’s Garage has Coal Canyon, a modern country band coming out Saturday night, as well. Music starts at 8 p.m.
