It finally feels like summer has arrived, and with it comes a ton of fun weekend events! A few of these events require advance registration, so we’re publishing this weekend’s round-up a little early to give you and your family plenty of time to get in on the fun. Uptown Friday Nights and the Wine and Jazz Festival
It’s everyone’s favorite uptown Friday night event, but with a twist! On Friday starting at 6 p.m., Partner’s Park will host live jazz musicians, along with yummy food trucks and fun for the whole family.
Saturday, June 9
The HIVE Cabin Sale and Vendor Market
Check out The HIVE’s eclectic selection of vintage, repurposed and handmade items, along with local vendors like Turquoise Arrow Crafts, Hank & Co, Simply Stated and Shop Out in the Country at their weekend market. Shop for unique items for your home from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday.
Mini Garden Tea Party at Dutch Mill Greenhouse
Make an adorable mini garden in a tea cup with help from the garden experts at Dutch Mill Greenhouse. For $10, you can craft a cute addition for your desk or workspace using just a mini tea cup, soil, rocks and accessories. The price of the ticket also includes tea party refreshments. This event is geared towards guests ages 3 and up, and guests are encouraged to wear their favorite garden party attire.
Runners, get ready! You can show your support for the Marysville High School Boys and Girl Track and Field teams and the Union County Special Olympics Track program by signing up for the Neon Glow Run. This Saturday, starting at 8 p.m., put on your brightest, neon workout gear and head out to the track at the high school. Registration is required and available here.
‘Tis the season… for summer movies in the park! Marysville is showing Nutty By Nature at Mill Valley Park South on Saturday night. Movie-goers are instructed to bring a blanket or low stadium seat to enjoy the film comfortably. The movie will start at 8:30 p.m. and is rated PG, so it’s okay for the whole family!

Father’s Day Beer Brunch at The Half Pint
Celebrate Dad’s Day a little early with a five-course beer brunch at The Half Pint! The pub has partnered with Platform Brewing, a Columbus brewer, to pair five of their beers with five courses of brunch bites. Tickets are required and must be purchased ahead of time for $60 a person (this also includes a Platform Brewing gift card!). You can reserve your spot over the phone by calling 937-738-7583 to purchase your tickets or stop into The Half Pint any time this week!
