Yesterday, we visited Uptown Marysville for the Union County Farmers Market and the always-fun Festifair. Festifair is an annual arts and crafts fair that takes place in Uptown Marysville every fall. This year, the event drew 140 vendors, selling everything from handmade jewelry to homemade honey. The streets were buzzing with families, vendors and performers, as the community welcomed the unofficial start to the fall season.
While Festifair took over Uptown Marysville, the weekly Union County Farms Market took over the Memorial Health Pavilion in Partners Park. Local farmers hauled in their produce, as patrons packed in, eager to try locally-grown fruits and veggies. We definitely left with our hands full…who could resist a good locally-grown apple?
The Union County Farmers Market takes place every Saturday through October 8 from 8-11 a.m.
