Happy New Year, Marysville! With a long winter looming, we’ve put together a list of fun local events hosted by a few of our faves. They’re guaranteed to banish your cabin fever this month.

Wednesday Night Date Night at House of Spirits
Looking for a classy, relaxed night out? House of Spirits is now open Wednesdays from 5 -10 p.m. Make it a board game night and grab one of their highly photogenic (and tasty!) cocktails for a mid-week treat.

Community Events at Marysville Public Library
The library has been something of a lifesaver for us during the pandemic. This month, they’re hosting a ton of great events to help you fill your cup and feel connected this winter. From craft nights to tai chi to many, many book clubs, there’s something for everyone at our library. Check out the full calendar here.

Couples Cocktail Class at Jerome Village Bar & Grille
Technically, you’ll need to head to Plain City for this one, but trust us – it’s worth it! A cocktail pro from Watershed Distillery will lead a class on Jan. 20 on the basics of mixology, while you enjoy the fruits of your labor (and an appetizer or two). Tickets here.

Winter House Hunting at Allen Woods
Hit the road and check out the condos at Allen Woods in Bellefontaine. We’re taking appointments for tours of our brand new 3-bedroom condos, available early 2022. Curious? Contact me for more info, and come see for yourself. 

Get Outdoors!
Nothing beats the winter blues like fresh air. Do some birding in MacIvor Woods or take a snowy stroll in McCarthy Park to get your daily dose of natural light.
