The chill in the air is DEFINITELY here to stay, which means we’re thinking about the holidays! Craft shows are a great place to pick up a few unique, locally made items for loved ones and luckily this month is full of them. Read on for the details, as well as some local, live entertainment and events for a good a cause.

November 1-3
A Bad Year for Tomatoes at Vet’s Memorial
This hilarious production features some of the best local talent in the form of Marysville’s own Silver Scene Players. The show runs all weekend, and proceeds benefit St. Martin de Porres.

November 2
March to the Craft Show at MHS
The Marysville High School Band Boosters will host the March to the Holidays Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the high school.

Dancing with Our Stars at Ohio Army National Guard Recruiting Center
Watch local celebs hit the dance floor to raise money for Uptown’s own historic Avalon Theatre.

November 3
Annual Pumpkin Drop at Decker Fire Station
See October’s pumpkin go SPLAT, as local firefighters drop them from 100 feet in the air! You can also take a tour of the fire station, or jump in the bounce house. Proceeds benefit Blessings in a Backpack.

November 5
Bourbon and Boots at The Pint Room
This one is technically out of town, but it’s a great event for a great cause, supported by Dalton Union. Do a bourbon tasting and tour the portrait gallery of local fallen soldiers, set up at Dublin’s Pint Room. Proceeds benefit the Eyes of Freedom non-profit.

November 11
St. John’s Craft Show
Now, this craft show is always one of our favorites! Shop for unique gifts at St. John’s Annual Christmas Bazaar.

November 21
Gals in the Garden at Dutch Mill Greenhouse
Create a harvest-themed centerpiece perfect for the Thanksgiving dinner table at Dutch Mill Greenhouse’s Gals in the Garden event. Remember: It’s BYODrink!

Little Big Band at Bunsold Middle School
Enjoy a night of big band music with the Little Big Band, presented as part of the Union County Community Concert Series.

November 28
Honda Federal Credit Union Pumpkin Dash 5K
Dash uptown on Turkey Day for the annual Pumpkin Dash 5K. Finishers receive a medal, and proceeds benefit the MHS track and field and cross country teams.

November 30
OSU – Michigan Tailgate at The Ville Grille
It’s the time of year again….time for the OSU-Michigan game! Grab a beer and watch the Bucks crush The Team Up North.
