There’s a lot of fun activities this weekend, but the biggest and most exciting has got to be the annual Covered Bridge Bluegrass Festival! This is a perfect opportunity to explore the county’s history and tour the covered bridges of Union County. Couple that with some great bluegrass music and you’ve got the makings of a great local festival.

This feels like a fall festival to us! Union County’s famous Covered Bridge Bluegrass Festival will take place all weekend long with live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, bridge tours and more. There’s even a pancake breakfast on the bridge! Check it out any day this weekend.

Check out the farmer’s market on Saturday morning for more late summer/early fall finds like apples, sunflowers and sweet corn. And mark your calendar’s for next weekend’s fall harvest festival during the market!
Make your own fall wreath with Marysville Art League this Saturday. Choose between 8 different varieties of felt flowers and customize it to really make it your own! The workshop is $33 for members, $36 for non-members. You can get tickets here.
Put a fun fall twist on the new succulent trend by making a succulent pumpkin! You’ll create a decorative pumpkin that can last all season long. The cost for this workshop is $49 and tickets are available here.

Check out the new SodaPharm pop-up uptown and meet Lisa Steele, author of the blog FreshEggsDaily.com and an expert on backyard chicken raising. Lisa will be in the shop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. signing books and meeting her readers, so head out on Sunday to meet her and to support a great new local business.
