Okay, there’s SO MANY things going on in Marysville this weekend. Granted, most of these events are brunch or food-related, but hey there’s really no such thing as too much brunch in our opinion. Now matter how you are spending this weekend, there’s sure to be something on this list you and your family can enjoy. Let us know in the comments what your plans are! And, Happy Easter weekend!

Friday, March 30th

Wildlife Night Hike at Glacier Ridge Metro Park

Apologies for the late notice on this one, but this event is too cool not to share, even though it’s last-minute! Franklin County Metro Parks is hosting a night hike TONIGHT at 8 p.m. The mission is to find nocturnal animals on this 1-mile hike. If you’re looking for something a little different and don’t mind bundling up (the forecast looks a bit chilly tonight!) than this is the trek for you. The group is meeting at the Picnic Shelter Bulletin Board and it looks like they’re expecting a big turnout.

Saturday, March 31

Easter Egg Hunt at Trinity Lutheran Church

Get your egg hunt in a day early at Trinity Lutheran Church. Tomorrow at 10 a.m. they’ll host an Easter egg hunt for kids of all ages. Eggs will be hidden around the church and snacks and goodies will be provided. And just a heads up, this event is BYOB (Bring Your Own Basket).

Tres Potrillos 5-Year Anniversary Party

Now for something completely different. Everyone’s favorite Mexican restaurant that isn’t uptown is hosting a 5-year anniversary party on Saturday with happy hour ALL DAY LONG. That means $6 Jumbo margaritas and select entrees for $8. There’s also a chance to snag free t-shirts!

Sunday, April 1

Easter at the Pavilion in Partner’s Park

Marysville First United Methodist Church is hosting a music-filled Easter Sunday al fresco at the Pavilion at Partner’s Park. They’ll start serving refreshments at 9:30 a.m. and the service starts at 10 a.m.

All right, we said there would be brunch and we weren’t lying. See below for our Easter Brunch Local Dining Guide…

The Ville Grille

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Marysville’s new-ish Greek/American grill is serving up made-to-order omelets, along with an extensive breakfast buffet and juice station.

The Half Pint

The Half Pint is going all out for Easter and offering both Easter Brunch and Easter Dinner. Their kitchen will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and their bar is open an hour later.

Yamato

If you’re looking for a non-traditional Easter brunch, Yamato Marysville will be open all day (noon to 9 p.m.) Sunday. They’re offering $5 mimosas and half-off all bottles of wine and sake all day long.

Rollies

Okay, okay this technically isn’t brunch, but we weren’t about to pass on ice cream. Rollies in uptown Marysville is open from noon to 9 p.m. on Easter. Sounds like a great post-church activity, especially if you’re already uptown for the service at the Pavilion. We’re pretty sure your kids will be on board.
