While last week’s events were all about St. Paddy’s Day, we are now moving into the Easter season with egg hunts and fun Easter-themed photoshoots. What are you doing this weekend, Marysville? We’re crossing our fingers for some warmer weather — or at least no snow!

Friday & Saturday

Union Station’s Eggcellent Easter Special – Pop by uptown Marysville’s Union Station this weekend and shop for goodies from your favorite local artists and makers. The shop will be decorated for Easter and scattered with Easter eggs, which contain coupons for discounts and free items! Click here for more information.

Saturday

Marysville Grace Easter Egg Scramble  – On Saturday March 24, Marysville Grace Church will host their annual Easter Egg Scramble at Marysville High School stadium. Bring along your little one and a canned good donation to enjoy the excitement of a good old fashioned Eater egg hunt. The action starts promptly at 11 a.m., and the church has prepared over 20,000 eggs so there’s sure to be enough for everyone to find! You can find out more information here.

Dalton Union Winery Hosts Kelly Vaughn – Come out to Dalton Union Winery on Saturday to enjoy the soulful original songs of Kelly Vaughn. Although this will be her first time playing at the winery, Kelly is no stranger to the spotlight. She’s played at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and opened for national acts. Sip on DUW’s signature “May Breeze” and dream about warmer days! More information can be found here.

Easter Pet Photoshoot at PetValu – Pet Valu on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd is hosting an Easter photoshoot for you and your furry friends. Purchase a photography package from a local photographer and half the proceeds will benefit Powell Animal Welfare Society. Click here to visit the event page for more information.
