Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, but there’s still plenty of time to plan a special night with the ones you love. I personally like to celebrate Valentine’s Day by picking out fun gifts for my family and going out for a date night at one of Marysville’s great restaurants! I’ve come up with a list of Valentine’s-themed events coming up this week in Marysville to help everyone feel the love. Whether you celebrate the day with your friends, your kids, or your significant other, there’s sure to be an event here for you! As always, leave your suggestions in the comments.
Couple’s Paint Night at Dalton Union Winery – This unique wine painting night allows couples or friends to team up and complete two paintings together. On Thursday, February 15, couples can celebrate with a belated Valentine’s Day date and enjoy an appetizer buffet and a glass of wine while completing their masterpieces. The cost is $65 per couple and includes all painting materials. 17 different wines, 5 different hard ciders, 3 craft beer will also be available for purchase. Tickets must be purchased in advance here.
Valentine’s Day BASH at Marysville Public Library – If your kids are looking for something fun to do while Mom and Dad have date night, they’ll love the Library’s teen Mario Kart Tournament. No mushy Valentine’s Day stuff here, just non-stop racing against their friends.
North High Beer Dinner at Half Pint – Celebrate your love (of beer) with the ultimate date night. The Half Pint has prepared a 5-course beer dinner paired with brews from Columbus’ own North High Brewing. Ticket are $55 per person.
Valentine’s Day at White Castle – Believe it or not, White Castle is again accepting reservations for dinner on Valentine’s Day. A bit fancier than your traditional White Castle experience, Valentine’s Day diners will be seated by a hostess, have their order taken at their table and enjoy their sliders by candlelight. At least it’ll make a good story, right? You can make your Valentine’s Day reservation at the Marysville White Castle here.
Valentine’s Dinner at Yamato Japanese Steakhouse – For an adventurous date night option, try out Yamato. The Japanese steakhouse is offering a prix fixe menu for Valentine’s Day. For $60, couples can enjoy an appetizer, soup and salad, Yamato trio entree and dessert.
The Ribbon Box – Marysville’s favorite bakery is selling “bouquets” of cupcake roses and heart-shaped cookie cakes – the perfect Valentine’s Day dessert to share with the ones you love. Grab a heart-shaped treat, spring for a bottle of champagne and you’ve got an awesome, low-key Valentine’s Day surprise.
