Although it seems that fall has only just begun, many fall destinations are closing their doors for the season on Oct. 30! The good news is the crisp fall air and vibrant autumn colors will likely hang around for a few more weeks. But if you were dying to snap some pics at the pumpkin patch, you should hurry to these spots to get your fill of fall fun before November.
- Leeds Farm – Everybody’s favorite farm for family fun is open until next Sunday! You and your family can pick pumpkins, go on a hayride and even brave the zip line. The farm is open both days next weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek – Finding your way through a giant Peanuts’ themed corn maze is a great way to celebrate the season! Plus, if you’re looking for a spooky alternative, the maze transforms into a haunted “Field of Fright”on Friday and Saturday nights! The MAiZe is open Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Oct. 30.
- The Orchard & Company – Although apple picking season is winding down, there are still plenty of pumpkins and gourds up for grabs at this Plain City farm. - The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium – Get to the zoo one last time before Wildlights! The annual Boo at the Zoo event will take place Friday 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. Wear your costumes and enjoy the festive decor at this “merry, not scary” Halloween event! And, for the 21 and over crowd, Boos & Brews will take place Friday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Adults are invited to the Boos & Brews concert at Water’s Edge Pavilion at the Columbus Zoo for beer, food and live music featuring country artist Keith Anderson.
